●The Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class, the Chinese people, and the Chinese nation. It is the leadership core for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and represents the developmental demands of China's advanced productive forces, the orientation for China's advanced culture, and the fundamental interests of the greatest possible majority of the Chinese people. The Party's highest ideal and ultimate goal is the realization of communism.

● The emblem of the Communist Party of China is composed of a hammer and sickle. The flag of the Communist Party of China is a red flag emblazoned with a golden Party emblem. The Party emblem and the Party flag are the symbol and sign of the Communist Party of China.

● 中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨黨徽為鐮刀和錘頭組成的圖案。中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨黨旗為旗面綴有金黃色黨徽圖案的紅旗。中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的黨徽黨旗是中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨的象征和標(biāo)志。

●Any forward-thinking Chinese worker, farmer, member of the armed forces,intellectual, or person from any other social strata who has reached the age of eighteen and who accepts the Party's program and Constitution and is willing to join and work actively in one of the Party's organizations, carry out theParty's resolutions, and pay regular membership dues may apply for membership to the Communist Party of China.

● 年滿(mǎn)十八歲的中國(guó)工人、農(nóng)民、軍人、知識(shí)分子和其他社會(huì)階層的先進(jìn)分子，承認(rèn)黨的綱領(lǐng)和章程，愿意參加黨的一個(gè)組織并在其中積極工作、執(zhí)行黨的決議和按期交納黨費(fèi)的，可以申請(qǐng)加入中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨。

●A probationary Party member must take an oath of admission before the Party flag. The oath reads: It is my will to join the Communist Party of China, uphold the Party's program, observe the provisions of the Party Constitution, fulfill the obligations of a Party member, carry out the Party's decisions, strictly observe Party discipline, protect Party secrets, be loyal to the Party, work hard, fight for communism for the rest of my life, always be prepared to sacrifice my all for the Party and the people, and never betray the Party.

● 預(yù)備黨員必須面向黨旗進(jìn)行入黨宣誓。誓詞如下：我志愿加入中國(guó)共產(chǎn)黨，擁護(hù)黨的綱領(lǐng)，遵守黨的章程，履行黨員義務(wù)，執(zhí)行黨的決定，嚴(yán)守黨的紀(jì)律，保守黨的秘密，對(duì)黨忠誠(chéng)，積極工作，為共產(chǎn)主義奮斗終身，隨時(shí)準(zhǔn)備為黨和人民犧牲一切，永不叛黨。
